About Century Willow LLC

"Growing up, I was that city girl who spent two weeks every summer on my grandparents' farm. While I was a city girl by address, my heart always belonged on that farm. Summers spent with Grandma Ella and my twin were full of life-weeded gardens, picked strawberries, read books, cooked, canned, and made memories that last a lifetime. We enjoyed the simple pleasures of farm life. But the one thing I'll never forget? The flowers. Grandma's garden was full of the most beautiful blooms, and those memories are some of the best of my life. Now, 43 years later, I'm excited to offer you the same experience through Century Willow LLC - our very own U-pick flower farm! You might be thinking, "Picking weeds? No thanks!" And, yes, there might be a few weeds, but the real joy is in making your very own bouquet of flowers. You'll be amazed at the stunning variety of blooms God has given for us to enjoy. Located just five miles south of Luverne, we have rows and rows of flowers waiting for you to pick. And while you're here, don't miss out on our fresh eggs, seasonal produce, honey, elderberry, Alpaca fiber, crafts, and so much more! We have some curious and always hungry Alpacas awaiting your visits too. Come make new memories, enjoy the beauty of nature, appreciate God's creation and be thankful. You're always welcome to join in and help with the weeds too! 🥰" -Lisa Hamann

HAMANN FAMILY STORY

The Hamann family farm has been in the family for over a century and is now owned by the fourth generation, David and Lisa Hamann. The farm was originally purchased in October 1919 by David’s great-grandfather, E.H. Hamann, a German immigrant born in 1870 in Schleswig-Holstein.

Over the decades, the Hamann farm has been more than just a working piece of land—it has been the heart of countless cherished memories. Children and grandchildren have grown up exploring the fields, helping with chores, playing in the barns, and celebrating holidays and milestones together. These generations have built a deep connection to the land, creating a legacy of love, laughter, and shared experiences.

Now, David and Lisa want to open this special place to the community to experience - Century Willow.
